3D Printed Custom Jewellery

Example Project

There are three main ways where 3D printing can aid to the jewellery creation and/or watchmaking process:

  1. To create masters for the subsequent traditionally made moulds and cores;

  2. To directly print the sacrificial wax models and/or cores instead of carving/machining;

  3. By printing 3D models directly from file in precious metal, effectively by-passing any casting process.

This short process overview presents two ways of creating a jewellery piece involving 3d printing/additive manufacturing in Arty Lobster.
